Does the doorbell chime act as an extendor?? null

Yes,I put it in the upstairs in my home so I can hear the door bell better.My old door bell isn't that loud. Hope this helps

Yes. However I found better results using a stand alone network extender and only using it for the distant cameras. Your mileage may very depending on several factors.
