IS THE UNIT WATERPROOF? null

Yes I have it outside it gets wet when it rains and snow on it and no problems I would not put it in submerged in water though but doubt that anyone would do that

This is meant to be installed outside and can withstand normal climate conditions. Waterproof to me means you can submerge in a certain amount of water depth for a certain amount of time. Although I'm not 100% sure I would think this leans more towards water resistant since mine has withstand downpours of rain and melting snow.
