It should just work with the existing wiring, assuming your transformer is compatible
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if you already have a wired doorbell system then this will work. Simply replace your existing doorbell and install the included power adapter at your transformer/chime box
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If its hard wired already, you just need to change the brackets, you’re definitely going to love the picture quality of the Ring Pro compared the the first Ring doorbell...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have it wired to the existing doorbell wiring, then yes, it installs the same way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We installed the ring video pro. We had an older transformer for old doorbell, it wasn't putting out enough amps. So we went to Menards and bought a transformer for $12 to give the maximum amp. (really simple to change out). But answer you question, yes, it is as easy as changing out a simple door bell. two wires at the door bell, and then mounting it to the wall. Also, there is a small battery or something that hooks up in the chime. it also is two wires. then install the app on your device. 5 minutes worth of work, 15 minutes reading the instructions. I have help install 2 other ring doorbells, this was the the only one I had to change the transformer.
