Mine is installed where my old doorbell button was installed and it is about hip high. That's about 3 feet off the ground. With the wide angle lens, I have no problem seeing my entire front door area including the person's face. Obviously, they must be standing at least 2 feet away from the doorbell button. The closer the person is to the button, the more they block out the picture. Standing at arm's length is just about right.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ring sells plastic shims for this exact purpose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Straight on in my opinion. You could go a tilt up but you would need to see if you can buy and official wedge from Ring or build one. Plant of examples on YouTube.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They sell angled mounts on the ring.com website. I used one to get a better angle on my porch so I could see down our sidewalk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I mounted mine just above normal doorbell level. You should be able to tilt it by offsetting top or bottom from the wall. You may have to somehow seal up the gap from rain afterward though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put this exactly where the existing doorbell used to be, and the view is great. The camera lens on the ring door bell pro is about 4ft off the ground on my installation. You can buy some angle brackets from ring to change the viewing angle if needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine at about 4'-5'. By itself you cannot tilt. There is a product out there for the Pro that wedges the doorbell at a horizontal angle. Not sure about a verticle tilt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it uses a wide angle lens the field of view is really good as long as its the standard height.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its a doorbell powered by the existing wiring for the hardwired doorbell so chances are you are limited in height options. they make angled plastic bases to turn it up to 30 degrees I think..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera is installed against the wall of the home and there is no way to tilt the camera. Unless the wall is tilted then I don't think it's possible. However, the camera is a wide angle so it's coverage is really good.
