There is a $30/yr subscription for each Ring camera you own, or a$100/yr for unlimited cameras if you would like to be able to save the videos to the cloud and download them at a later time. I believe if you choose not to purchase the subscription, you will only be able to view videos upon motion/ring and not be able to go back at a later date to review the video capture.

You’ll see in a lot of the post about WiFi connectivity being an issue which is complete BS because it started working right away once we signed up for $3 monthly subscription.
