Hi Ringdoorcamera. Thanks for reaching out. In rare cases, discolored video, like black video, can occur on Ring doorbells or cameras. We recommend rebooting the device through the Ring app to correct this. In order to reboot Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) in the Ring app, it must be connected to wifi. Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰). Tap Devices. Select the device you want to reboot. Make sure it's connected to wifi. Tap the Device Health tile. Scroll down to Reboot This Device and confirm your selection. Give your Ring device a few minutes to start up.
