I just hosed off the side of my house and some water ran down the house and my ring doorbell stopped working. I think Im going to try another brand
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I disagree with the other answers here. After a recent storm, my Ring doorbell stopped working. After following all troubleshooting steps with a live Ring agent, it was determined the unit was water damaged. It was in use for less than 6 months and they did not cover it under warranty. It had withstood worse storms than the one that knocked it out and it is installed under a portico. I'm assuming the wind was blowing the rain in at just the right angle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Minnie, Ring products will work in freezing temperatures and are resistant to rain. In general, Ring doorbells and Cam products with batteries are rated for operating temperatures between -5 to 120 degrees F. (-20 to 50 degrees C.). Cam products without batteries are rated at -22 to 120 degrees F (-30 to 48.5 degrees C). Bilan J, Customer Satisfaction Specialist [email protected]
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Ring doorbell is weatherproof and will not be effected by the rain.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Painters power washed the front of the house and got the Ring 3 wet, its dead. Not as water resistant as we thought.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will be fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine still fit securely into house. You could always use caulking to seal it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My ring camera will not stream video in the rain. It’s not as weather resistant as the company claims it is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing, it will be fine
