You can glue, screw, zip-tie, Velcro or chain this sucker up anywhere you’d like. You can just use the convenient battery option to power it!

Please try again later.I wouldn't see why not. but not to sure about the vibrations to the unit every time the door opens and closes, and how it will effect the unit. also do you have a storm door that will be covering the view of the door bell? that may also effect the unit. You can mount it directly to the house. Truthfully i would go to the Ring web site and see if they make a special mount for your application. they also have a solar charger for this unit that can mount on the house near the door it may be something i invest in down the road.
