The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 does not have a memory card slot for you to manage your own video logs and data management. You would be required to maintain a subscription to “Ring Protect Basic” which comes out to $3 per month, or $30 per year. This covers only one Ring device. If all you have is the doorbell, then this would be the plan I would recommend. If you have multiple Ring devices on your property, then you would be looking for “Ring Protect Plus”. For this service, you’re looking at $10 per month, or $100 per year, depending on the payment plan you decide. There is no limit to the number of Ring devices you can have on this plan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can still use it with out a subscription but with the subscription they retain a video history for 60 days just in case anything happens this way you can always go back and search. It’s $3 a month or $30 annually for 1 device basic plan or The plus plan is $10 a month or $100 for all devices. I have 3 spotlights the doorbell and 3 interior cameras so of course I have the plus plan. Happy with it. Works great.
