“can this device be used with present wired door bell”

• Yes it can. it will be attached to the same wires from your door bell and original door chime. No need to buy a separate door chime if your previous door chime works. Ex: someone rings your ring door bell ,sound goes on ring doorbell device, then your phone notifies you that someone rung your bell and then your chime inside your house rings in that order. You can control all notification settings from the ring app in case you want to silence some. Overall very pleased with product and service.
