Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.At 12 volts, the heater consumes 300 watts, which would ideally create about 1,000 BTUs/hour. At 13.8 volts (and 400 watts) that's 1,300 BTUs/hour. (the power wire also radiates a small amount of heat but probably not where you want it)
