I have 2 of these in my well insulated EV, they really work, fairly quickly too. A freezing 28F degree night in the northest US, a half-hour ride (I used my EV seat heater on, and I used 1 of these heaters) and I was quite comfortable, wearing a coat, etc. Another freezing night, I used the 2nd heater too, I had a tee shirt, long sleeve jean shirt, fleece jacket and a down jacket on/broken zipper~ I removed all down to my tee shirt and pants, and before I arrived home, a half-hour later, the two heaters were -burning me- out of my EV *(I also had turned off my EV seat heater on the way home!) I was testing how much they discharged my Deep Cycle Marine battery in a half-hour.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Keep in mind that a very small pickup truck (no rear seat) will heat faster/better, than say a huge Ford Expedition (given the much larger cabin space) so depending upon you vehicle size, results will vary. Having said that, it is a 300 watt heater, it will certainly help (the less cold the climate you're in, the more it will. Have your vehicle engine running, if you don't, it will drain your battery (as it does, the heat output will be reduced more and more.) Also, wiring is designed to be connected directly to the vehicle battery with a 30 amp fuse. If it is connected elsewhere, the heat output can also be reduced 100% of the time.
