A:AnswerHi there Susan, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. Thanks for your question. As long as your CD player has the ability to output audio to another device such as a speaker through an auxiliary cable, I do think that that would work with the Roadtripper as well. Just plug the cable into the auxiliary port and the Roadtripper will know you are trying to play audio through aux rather than Bluetooth. For any further questions please reach out to [email protected] and we'd be happy to help. Thanks! Bracketron Support
A:AnswerHi there, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. Make sure you are using your transmitter with a radio station that is not already broadcasting any audio, otherwise it won't be very effective. In order to change stations and find which one works best in your area, hold down on the red cell phone symbol on the transmitter until the red LED numbers start flashing. Then, change the station with the arrows on the side of the transmitter until you find one that works best for your area. In my experience, turning the volume up all the way on your phone provides the clearest quality audio. Lastly, make sure you have your car radio on the same station as displayed on your transmitter (the red LED numbers). If you have any other questions, please reach out to [email protected] for more help! Thanks, Bracketron Support

A:AnswerNo. XM is Satellite radio (very low radio wave frequency from the sky 1-3Mh) and doesn’t run on standard radio wave frequencies (much higher radio wave frequencies from towers on the ground 88.1-107.5Mh). This is an FM transmitter so you can connect your phone to you car using the existing stations your car has available. You have to buy an XM car stereo for satellite radio. It will explicitly say XM
A:AnswerMake sure that the frequency on the Bracketron transmitter screen matches the frequency on your car radio. Also, change to a different frequency if you can sometimes or always hear a radio station at the initial frequency.
A:AnswerIt works with Bluetooth and radio waves. So you put a radio station on and match it with the device. Bluetooth connect device to your phone and then play whatever you want
A:AnswerStick the transmitter into cigarettes lighter socket turn the transmitter on go to your Bluetooth in your iPhone look for brack it should be pair by the time you open your Bluetooth in your iPhone turn on an FM Station on your radio and then press the RED symbol in the transmitter for a second or two the frequency in the transmitter start blinking and while is blinking use the symbol + - to set a frequency matching your radio’s fm frequency once its set you are good to go automatic pickup your phone Bluetooth Good Luck
