Does it support 5g WiFi? null

No it doesn’t but my Wi-Fi has both available so I just hooked to the other. This thing is awesome. So happy with it I threw the box away. I usually keep boxes for 6 months

You really don't want to use 5G on a mobile robot device due to the nature of the 5G signal. The 2.4G has a much longer range, allowing you to pinpoint your unit's location should it get stuck.

Your router has to also have 2.5g band. Switch your phone to that band to connect to Wi-Fi in app. After that your phone can be on 5g band and app will work as expected.

Robot vacuums only support 2.4G network on the current market. Because 2.4G network has stronger wall penetration capabilities, farther signal propagation, wider coverage, and 5G network may be blocked or attenuated by obstacles, which is easy to lose your wifi signal and can't update the cleaning map. So we use 2.4G network to make sure working status of robot could be viewed on app at any time. At present, most wifi routers support both 2.4G and 5G network. You could switch your router to 2.4G to get robot connected smoothly.
