Q: QuestionI want to send hdmi audio from my 4K blue ray to my receiver and hdmi video to my 4K hdr tv separately because my receiver doesn't have hdr pass through. Is there an hdmi splitter that will allow while still preserving hdcp 2.2?

• A:Answer Same issue, want to get 4K HDR on my TV while sending audio through HDMI to a non HDCP2.2 receiver for Dolby Atmos. Tried this HDMI splitter and it did NOT solve the problem. It sent 4K to the TV and Atmos to the receiver but with no HDR. The manual says that all connected devices need to be compatible with HDCP2.2 for HDR to work. These splitters aren't designed for this type workaround application but it would be nice if it was. IS THERE A SPLITTER OR DEVICE THAT WILL ALLOW THIS APPLICATION TO WORK WITHOUT BUYING A NEW RECEIVER OR USING DUAL HDMI OUTPUT SOURCE? At the moment I am using the Audio Return Channel hdmi input on my TV to the ARC hdmi output on my receiver. No Atmos from the source this way but will still get DDPlus and will properly display 4K HDR from source. However I can still get Atmos with ONLY the local apps on the TV with this set up.

Q: QuestionI have an xbox one x, Samsung qled with freesync and Samsung dolby atmos soundbar, the atmos only works with the xbox plugged directly into soundbar however I loose freesync and auto game mode. Will this splitter allow me to hook my xbox to both?

Q: QuestionI have this splitter and have my century link prism come into it and go out to two tv's. Although this works, I seem to be having some problems with pixelation of my picture and freezing of the TV at times. Is this a common problem?

• A:Answer Once everything has turned on and synced up, I don't see any pixelation. I have a set top box routed through the splitter to an HD TV and an amplifier controlling a home theater. Both pictures are crystal clear. When first switched on, there is some garbling of the picture until everything syncs up (maybe 5 seconds), however. This is pretty typical though.

Q: QuestionI have a 4K tv and PS4 pro and a receiver with 5.2 surround with 4K pass through but with the receiver it only puts out hdcp1.4 but if I plug the PS4 directly into tv I get the full 2.2 but lose surround, so will this cord help have all three with 2.2

Q: QuestionI have a Samsung Model: UN55KU7000FXZA and it has 3 HDMI Ports but only Port 1 supports this 4K HDR, Port 2 and 3 dont. Will this help me connect my Cable and PS4 Pro and get HDR 4K on both ?

• A:Answer You need an "HDMI switch" not a splitter. BestBuy has several, just search for HDMI switch. Most have 4 inputs and 1 output going to TV.
