Tony That is exactly what I tried to do. I only had one cable coming from the wall instead of the usual two cables and Xfinity wants me to pay adding the second cable. I have a new Roku TV and when I used the splitter, the cable signal was too weak for the TV to work so I am back to arguing with Xfinity to get them to pay for the extra cable. I believe they should have installed two from the original installation. i recently purchased the house. Most likey the giant will win and I will eat the $70 bucks. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m using this splitter just the way you want to. One output to my cable TV box and the 2nd output to my cable modem. Works perfectly.
