QuestionDoes the RF-G1182 device only transmit up to 60Hz, or does it truly have lossless pass-through signal that is only rated for up to 60Hz?I only ask this because on the back of the box I noticed that it said "Frame Rate | 60Hz," but I couldn't find any other more detailed information about the frame rate specs anywhere.

- Answer The frame rate on the packaging refers to the frame rate with which the video was recorded, not the TV screen refresh rate. The previous answer to this question is correct, the TV screen refresh rate is only a measure how how many times per second the screen refreshes itself, and is completely independent of the source device or content that is connected to the TV (this includes the HDMI cable too). The RF-G1182 splitter will work with all frame rates (video recording) and all TV screen refresh rates.

- Answer Have no idea, but the splitter does not really know what the source is. It just takes one IN ands pushes TWO out.

QuestionApple MacBook Air not working as input to Rocketfish HDMI SplitterI'm connecting an Apple Airbook as input to the Rocketfish HDMI Splitter using a mini-display port to HDMI Cable. The splitter then connects to an LG TV and an Epson Projector as outputs. My Gateway PC laptop with an HDMI cable works well with this configuration. The Apple Airbook with it's mini display port to HDMI cable direct to the LG TV works well. So the problem is in the splitter connection specifically to the Apple Airbook. Is there a fix for this?

- Answer After testing the device in our lab, we were able to connect it without an isue to an LED TV. We were not able to test it with a Projector. Have you connected it directly to the projector only?

- Answer The conversion from HDMI signal takes place at the converter, there should be no "upstream" downgrade.

QuestionCan I use the Rocketfish splitter to connect two monitors to my computer?I just purchased a Gateway PC and was told that it supports 2 monitors ... however, there is only one port to plug in a monitor. I have one HDMI monitor and one that is LED ... can I use the splitter to be able to use both monitors ... as if it were one large screen. I want to run two separate programs at the same time.

- Answer This will not do what you're asking. If your PC has HDMI and VGA ports each can be used to drive a separate monitor without any other hardware.

QuestionCan this rocketfish splitter be used with elgato hd 60?I just bought this rocketfish hdmi splitter to use with my elgato hd 60. I am trying to use to record my playstation 3 game play. I know that the elgato hd 60 doesn't work with the ps3 but I have done some research and most said that if u get a hdmi splitter it works. I have everything hooked up correctly and not working. Can anyone help me please?

- Answer Are you making sure that you have it plugged into the right ports? TV going into output and PS3 going into input? Do you have the PS3 settings correctly configured to run HDMI? Try holding down the PS3 Power button for about 30 seconds until it beeps two separate times. This will bring you into the system configuration settings for the Playstations Basic setup settings.

QuestionIs splitter HDCP compliant?I have a splitter receiving signal from DirecTV DVR. It is connected to an HDCP Panasonic Viera display through a (presumably HDCP) Yamaha Adventage RX-700 receiver. Second output is direct to a Samsung HDCP compliant TV. The only way I can get HDCP content (ie, HBO) on the primary Panasonic display, is if the Samsung display is also on. When the second display is off, content on the primary display is blocked. In addition, if I turn on secondary display to get content on primary display, the content is still displayed after I turn off the secondary display. However, content is then lost if I change channel on receiver. The second display plays restricted content at all times, regardless if primary is on or off. I've tried swapping the output cables with no change. Please advise

- Answer This is a switch. It only goes to one output from two inputs. It will not work backwords, I'm sure!
