“Subwoofer cable shielding? Hi, I was looking at subwoofer cables for my system and saw the Rocketfish brand. The website doesnt say if the cable has any kind of shielding. Most other brands list it if it has any. Should I assume there is no shielding?”

I bought this cable from Best Buy. Having not dissected it, I cannot guarantee it is shielded but at this price point and quality level I would be pretty confident that it is not only shielded but "dual" shielded. Also, I can vouch for the performance. It works very well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Normally it has a simple single aluminum wrap around the whole cable. Higher end cables have individually wrapped cables in a double helix wrap to reduce rf noise

I bought this for its quality and length and it passes over several high quality copper but standard speaker wires and two power wires in my setup. Based on its thickness and performance I would be surprised if it wasn't shielded but it is also very flexible compared to similar thicknes cables so I can't be 100% sure without cutting it which isn't going to happen.
