There is not s specific negative or positive side to this wire. What I have done is to use the wire with the “printed/label” on it as the negative wire. All you have do do from there, is to consistently use the “printed/label ” part of the wire on all negative connections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn’t matter which side you use, just be consistent to ensure you don’t cross the wires. I always use the side with the Black writing to go the positive terminal It seems to be the best way to identify.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doesn't really matter as long as the same side is plugged into both ends (receiver and speaker). One wire has writing on it so you can differentiate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doesn't make any difference as long as you are consistent. The wires are identical on both sides. I usually use a stripe or lettering (which is always only on one side) as the positive/red terminal, but you could do the opposite. Again...as long as you are consistent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pick a side and be consistent in both the speaker jack and AV Receiver or Sound Bar. I use the white stripe side as positive. With red and black wire, usually red is positive and black is negative. In your house wiring, I believe black is the power, so be careful.
