I mounted them behind 3 of my tv's using zip ties. Unless you look behind tv you will never notice them. I also used zip ties to mount the smaller Comcast cable box behind tv.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on type of wall mount. If it's pretty much flush to wall then no. If it swings out from wall then yes. It's 1 n 3/8 inches in thickness. Add a plug it sticks out about another inch or so.
