Cut wire longer and fold it, so its thicker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I brought some for some Klipsch speakers and used 12 gauge speaker wire. I think they are for use no smaller than 16 gauge. 18 is TOO.thin. I wish that I never purchased these plugs. On my speakers I used the screw lugs on the speakers themselves, I feel it is a better connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try using the other insert included in the package. If that doesn’t fix your problem then you are just going to need to get larger gauge wire. I use 14 gauge wire with the banana plugs and it fits perfectly! Good luck!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can try wrapping the wire with electrical tape in the area where the plugs needs to adhere too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do not use these. Buy some that contain 2 tiny screws to secure the wire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The wires may be to thin. you can do a few things to help that out though. First make sure you read the instructions and when you put the wire on press the middle spike up into the wire. Second I did this the first time I installed banana plugs is I used both the white and the black inserts and with both of them they held very well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Take the bottom rubber plug piece and slide onto wire. Next, take the spliced wire length suggested and run through the plastic crown and stop when the rubber conduit begins and take exposed wire and mash into the cup of the crown. Take the plug end and place crown with flattened wire into the spiked plug end and then pull bottom plug piece into place to begin screwing them into one piece. It may take you a few times, once you get it you will see it's simple. Hope it helps. Give it a good pull and it should be locked into place. Make sure you are using the right size plastic crowns for your gauge of wire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it the minimum gauge is 16 for these plugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You most likely need to get thicker speaker wire and have to have the grommet on in the correct direction.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.dont need to strip to get the wire, just cut it then there be a pin in the middle of the gold piece slip the black plastic piece on til snug then incert then twist it together then done
