A:Answer I am having this issue too, and called Rocketfish for help. Surprisingly they actually answer the phone. The UNpublished way to reset the device is apparently to switch the power on the back of the device to off, disconnect the power adapter (not the micro USB, unplug the transformer/plug), wait 60 seconds, plug the power back in, switch the power on/off/on/off/on/off/on, leaving it on at the end of the series. This is supposed to reset it according to them. It did not work for me though.
The wizards at Rocketfish didn't think about someone else connecting to the device by mistake. Likely one of my neighbors in my building mistakenly connected, and I'm SOL as the reset process doesn't work. The device works great until this happens, then just throw it out and buy something else. Note that the Rocketfish rep I spoke with agreed that they screwed up when designing this device, and the escalation team he reached out to agreed to that, saying they never thought of someone else in range connecting to it by mistake, ultimately all agreeing there should be a physical reset button.
