Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These work for F style connectors. Low loss and for an extension of cable I would use RG-6 cable not RG-59.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i would use RG-6 Cable and a 3 gig coupler if used on a cable modem, but yes it will work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The couplers are ideal for use with coax cable. I had to use about 6 feet of cable between the wall and my cable modem. So far no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It's just a coupler that changes over from a male to female end so keep that in mind, If your modem uses coaxial then it will extend the the length if all you need is a gender change.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my non-expert opinion, yes to both of your questions. The coupler worked fine for my application (extending an indoor digital antenna). Using it to connect a modem cable might not be ideal, but I bet it’s not going to have a negative/detrimental effect for that use - not in a way that we normal mortals would notice, BUT I wouldn’t think you’d want to extend a modem cable more than a few feet. (IMHO)
