I’m having the same issue and I figured out that the M8 is too fat for my 40” but it is also not a Samsung. Not sure if that matters or not. I had a M6 and that fit. I just need to find the correct length to use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is always a universal TV mounting screw kit available as well. For TVs 19 – 22 inches, the screw size is M4. For TVs 30 – 40 inches, the screw size is M6. For TVs 49 – 88 inches, the screw size is M8.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The most common screw size for a Samsung TV is M8x45mm to use with the spacers, 20-25mm without spacers. You may want to measure the depth of your screw holes with a straw to get a good idea of what length screw is needed. It will be an M8 diameter screw, though.
