A:AnswerI would recommend using a toggle bolt rated for twice the weight capacity as the mount and TV combined. (Mount, 15 lbs + TV, 25 lbs = 40 lbs. Toggle bolts should have 80 lb. capacity) Mount the toggle bolt into the wall stud. You can get them at any Home Depot.
A:AnswerThere should already be mounting holes in the back of the tv. They're pretty easy to spot bc they have machine threading. You'll just need to choose the correct bolts (included) that will fit.
A:AnswerI used it to mount a 43" Sharp ROKU that was similar in size and under the weight requirements. It works well. The kit has many different mounting bolt sizes. I just used those that came with the TV and it's working great.
A:AnswerIt would be difficult to penetrate the steel studs. I believe it can be attached to a sheetrock wall with the proper anchors, but the sheetrock must be at least 1/2 inch (check instructions) and you should not exceed the suggested weight.
A:AnswerThe way I would approach this issue is to get a couple friends and have the TV mounted to the stand and then hold it up to face where I want it to be and swing the mount to find a solid support that will suit my needs. Mark the wall and then take the TV off the stand and hang the stand on the wall.
A:AnswerIt should swing both ways. There are screws to lock it in a certain position, but I have no problem swinging mine either way. There's a screw that locks the frame to the swivel unit and that screw goes in from the back and on the bottom. And when you put the TV on you hang it from the top and then put that screw in, so I don't see how it could be upside down or if it would even matter. I would check the screws in back and loosen some to get it to move and once you get it where you want it re-tightened them.
