Place the joycons on the side of the switch. and either put the switch in the dock or plug the power cord directly in the bottom of the switch and it will charge both switch and joy cons at the same time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use your Switch to charge the joy cons by connecting the joy cons to the Switch and charging your Switch with the joy cons connected, but you can only charge two at a time that way. For someone who has multiple joy cons, this is perfect.
