A:Answer Yes, you still need to run speaker wires from each speaker to the receiver. Not ideal, if you don’t have a way to hide the wires behind a couch/chair. But these worked perfectly for me for what I was needing to accomplish. No wires running from my entertainment center across my floor to rear speakers. Was able to plug receiver into the wall, connect speaker wires from speaker to receiver and hide that behind my couch.
