If you want this newer TV with Roku built into it instead of having to connect the separate Roku device then yes. If you like to watch live TV from an antenna or cable, it's nice to have that option easily accessible on the TV screen with this TV compared to having to change inputs to watch those on other TVs with a separate Roku device attached.
