I've only used streaming services with it, but there are settings for cable or over the air TV for the coax input. So I would feel certain you can.

Yes, there is a built-in antenna, and Roku calls that feature "live tv". Yes, the tv recognizes cable via HDMI. (I hooked up my cable box via a coaxial cable and I couldn't get the Roku tv to recognize its existence. Once I connected my cable box via HDMI, the Roku tv recognized it right away.) If you have a physical antenna on your home, I believe there is a receptacle on the back of the tv for it. I can't check for it because my tv is mounted on the wall.
