• Hello Mountainlover, it all depends on what you’re trying to stream. Streaming HD (720/1080p) content usually only takes 6Mbps. I would look into trying to get faster internet speed.

• You will probably be restricted to streaming at Standard Definition. The rule of thumb for 4K is that you need 25Mbs minimum and 50Mbs for smooth "glitch free" performance. The TV should automatically set its internal Roku device to the best available service level. But that also means that you shouldn't sign up for 4K or HD service from Roku, you won't be getting your money's worth Your TV will look its best when you are playing a Bluray disk on a 4K output player.
