• You don’t have to pay if you only use free apps. However, to sign up for an account with Roku, you need to enter your card information, but I believe you can use debit card and/or PayPal as well.

• You need a credit card if you are subscribing to a Channel but probably not for a lot of sites...U Yube.. Pinterest...etc. You can get a pay pal debit card and fill it from a your bank. They are great and everyone on the Internet prefers them.
