Roku is for streaming, not cable, so it is probably not compatible with your cable system.

Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves. For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. In regards to saving your favorite channels on Roku, you can do that by adding the channel to your Roku streaming player. When you add a channel to your Roku streaming player you will be able to see and access that channel from the homepage of your Roku streaming player. To add a channel to your Roku streaming player start by pressing the Home button on your Roku remote. Then scroll up or down and select Streaming Channels to open the Channel Store. When you want to learn more about a channel, press the OK button on your remote to open the details. From there you can select Add Channel to install the channel on your Roku device. You can always enter a keyword in Search Channels to find choices based on the title of a channel or browse channels based on genre. Additionally you can customize the channel layout on the homepage of your Roku streaming player. To customize the homepage channel layout on your Roku streaming player start by pressing the asterisk button on your Roku remote while highlighted on the channel tile you want to move. For example, your most often used channels you may want to move to the top for easy access.
