The onscreen interface is identical with either the integrated Roku like the Hisense Tv has and the Roku Ultra. The big difference is the quality of the picture seen on the TV itself. I would do research on TVs in the price range you can afford. I personally feel the top three TVs, (LG, Samsung, and Sony) have better picture quality and longer warranty coverage over the Hisense or Roku TV. This was my initial conclusion after extensive research on multiple credible independent review platforms and my personal experience has confirmed it. But you will need to do your own research. We went with an LG OLED TV capable of 8K. The picture using the Roku Ultra and 8K HDMI cables through our receiver is amazing. In contrast, we have a Roku TV in our travel trailer. Even though it is set up for 4K, the picture is not as sharp as on our TV at home. In short, the picture quality is only as good as the actual TV is capable of. I hope his helps.

The great thing about Roku is that your experience is the same regardless of whether you opt for a TV with the Roku platform built-in or a Roku Streaming Player. However, there are a few features that a Roku TV offers over Streaming players. One is the ability to connect an OTA (Over The Air) antenna to a Roku TV. Connecting an antenna will integrate the OTA live local channels with the 350+ live streaming channels into one Smart guide experience. Streaming players can access the 350+ live streaming channels but not the OTA channels. In addition, connecting a 16GB USB flash drive to your Roku TV allows you to pause live OTA digital broadcast television for up to 90 minutes using Live TV Pause. Roku TVs also have a Sleep Timer, whereas Streaming Players do not. The most significant difference between the Roku branded TV vs. a Hisense Roku TV is that the Roku branded TVs come with a Roku Voice Remote, which makes it easy to find content using your voice. - Happy Streaming!
