QuestionI have a Roku smart soundbar, Roku wireless speakers and a Roku tv but the soundbar and speakers won’t work together how can I get them to work together? Is the Roku streambar the only one that will work with the speakers and tv together?

- Answer Hi ! You will want to start by making sure your Roku Smart Soundbar is setup with your Roku TV. A welcome screen will appear automatically after your Roku Smart Soundbar is connected to your Roku TV and powered on. Select Begin setup with your Roku TV remote to begin the automatic on-screen setup and activation process. After your Roku Smart Soundbar is setup, you can then setup and pair the Roku Wireless Speakers, allowing the Roku Wireless Speakers to work with your Roku Smart Soundbar. To get started make sure your Roku Wireless Speakers are plugged into a power outlet and are within 30 feet of your Roku TV. Then turn on your Roku TV and switch to the input your Roku Smart Soundbar in connected to your Roku TV. From here Press and hold the Home button on your Roku remote for 5 seconds to open the setup menu and select Speakers. Your Roku Wireless Speakers will automatically be detected and begin pairing. The Roku Wireless Speakers are compatible with Roku TV, Roku Streambar Pro, Roku Streambar and Roku Smart Soundbar.

- Answer Hello! When paired with a compatible Roku TV, they cancel out the TV speakers. Please Note: These Roku Speakers are only compatible with a Roku TV, Roku Streambar, Roku Streambar Pro or Roku Smart Soundbar, if to be used as front speakers. For Surround Sound, you will need a Roku Streambar, Roku Streambar Pro, or Roku Smart Soundbar, combined with two pairs of Roku Wireless Speakers. You can also add a Roku Wireless Subwoofer if you would like to get more "Boom" to the Room as long as it is paired with Roku Wireless Speakers and, or, a Roku Streambar, Roku Streambar Pro or Roku Smart Soundbar.

QuestionI have an vizzio 1080P 24" tv in the kitchen and a 4k fire roku fire stick hooked up to one hdmi input, would these speakers work when i paly roku with that tv or would i need the roku sound bar 1st.

- Answer I believe Roku speakers only work with a Roku TV, so you would need the sound bar. I would check with Roku support before making a purchase. The Roku speakers do work well.

QuestionWhat's the difference between these Model 9020R2 and the Model 9030R2 sold on the Roku website? Is the 9030R2 on the Roku website a newer model?

- Answer The 9030R2 comes with 2 (superfluous) remotes. I believe the 9020R2 used to be a Best Buy exclusive. I recently for the 9020R2 from Amazon and now that's the model for sale on the Roku website. These speakers are notoriously difficult to find right now. I assume either a new revision is going to be put out or they are being discontinued. Walmart still sells an onn. knockoff though they are also difficult to find.

QuestionIf I have a Roku TV, Roku Soundbar and Two Roku speakers, will the two speakers work if I place them a different room in the house? If yes, can I turn off the two speakers and still have sound from the soundbar in the other room? Thanks.

- Answer The rear speakers need to be within 30 feet of the Soundbar to work, so technically you could place them in a different room. However, at this time you cannot turn them off (outside of unplugging them) and just leave the soundbar on.

QuestionCan these be attached to the ceiling? Our house was prewired for sound and we currently have rear speakers on the ceiling and side speaker on the wall on either side of the TV . My understanding is if we get a soundbar, we need to get compatible speakers

- Answer Dan, The Roku Smart Soundbar comes with the enhanced voice remote. The Roku Rear Speakers or Roku Subwoofer do not come with a remote as everything is controlled through the Soundbar.

- Answer I do this by pairing my TV and phone or. The TV goes into a screensaver mode which can add to your setting if you choose. But no it cannot be set up directly to the speakers.

- Answer No, they connect via Bluetooth only. For that reason I kept a smaller model and gave my new one to my great niece i love the surround sound it delivers. Placed you right in the movie. Updating your TV would be worth a thought now before prices begin their increase.
