What is the amps/wattage of the powered lift-Away XL? null

9.5 Amps 1150 watts. Generally 1200 watts is 10 Amps and about 1 HP. Roughly, but it will do if you are considering circuit loads.

The vacuum is 9.5 amps and 1150 watts.

It runs on a 15 amp circuit with no problem. If you are comparing vacuums, the wattage is not nearly as important as the way the brushes work and the suction. The Shark does a great job in both areas. We won Dyson as well and this is a much better vacuum.
