A:Answer hello , i have always used Roxio because it has so many capabilities to share and burn a {video } dvd or c/d with family or friends , i have never down loaded a video dvd or c/d to a usb , i am sure you can , i have always had the best results with a blank dvd to burn stuff on . i have always used a usb drive for school studies and stuff , you just need to make sure you have a Large enough usb drive to hold all that data which is possibly more than my school stuff , Lol , just remember , it may be best to just use a dvd , to burn to , because this product is so awesome , The Roxio c/d dvd burning 2 also does Blue Ray burning as well , pretty awesome , and if you do try to burn a Blue Ray to a usb , i am not sure if you have enough space on that usb to hold all that data of the Blue Ray , Blue Ray s uses way more data space than a digital copy , just saying , i know with a computer you can compress it to m-peg even more to save space . blank dvd s are not that expensive . good luck .
