• A:Answer I bought this case for a Samsung A7, so I really can't speak in regards to the fit on an I-Pad. Regarding water resistance; I would trust it to be resistant to minor splashes and spills, but not any sort of immersion. And I would probably remove the case asap and dry it out. My tablet is water resistant, but not water proof. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI have tried to get the kickstand down and it just doesn't want to budge. I have pressed the tab several times and no luck,even a sales person couldn't do it. Am I missing something here?? This is my second one.

• A:Answer It's just very stiff. This method works for me. Lay the tablet face down on a smooth surface. Pushing on the tab that locks the leg in place with a pen or pencil, while lifting and moving the leg to its original position.

• A:Answer I wouldn't recommend it. The cover is a three part interlocking puzzle. If you leave out the screen protector part, the rest of the case will fall apart on you.

• A:Answer I got out my scale and got these measurements: The cover itself is 320 grams (0.7 lbs). The tablet without the cover is 466 grams. Their combined weight is 784 grams (1.73 lbs). I blame the missing 2 grams on the tolerances of my scale. I will also say that the cover feels solid and rugged. I'd recommend it.

• A:Answer The packaging doesn't advertise water resistance or it being water proof. There are literal holes in the case for the speakers, microphone, camera, and optional carrying strap through which fluids can flow.
