QuestionWill this microphone and software produce a file that is compatible with the ACX standards? Is there a tutorial or section in the manual as to how to set the system so that the files are compatible with ACX? Thank you.

- Answer I am pretty certain that it is not the microphone that produces a file type/standard. It will be the software that you use. The mic simply pulls your audio into the PC, your software will process it and allow you to produce the file type that you desire. So, there would be no problem producing audio ACX files with this microphone.

- Answer Samson makes a mini condenser mic that you could use with a phone. That might be easier for you. Otherwise you'd have to find a cable that had the correct ends, and be able to supply enough power for the 3 mics inside. I'm just not sure how well that would work out.

- Answer Hey 2swat, Never any dumb questions... Yes, the computer audio and the mic sound will both play back through the G-Track's headphone jack. When you plug it in, you have to go into your recording software's Preferences and choose the "G-Track Pro" for both Recording & Playback, then ensure you have your headphones plugged into the G-Track Pro headphone jack and NOT the computer's. - Answer The microphone uses Windows default USB Audio drivers. More technically, the MME and WDM drivers are there, but I haven't been able to get Kernel Streaming drivers working.

- Answer Hey Karen, YES... it's great for that. I've used it for testing out Zoom sessions and Skype and it's incredibly clear for the people on the other end and for you to hear them. Just make sure you use either ear-buds or Closed-Back headphones that are plugged into the G-Track Pro's headphone jack so you don't experience feedback from speakers into the mic. You just need to go into your Zoom, Skype or other online chat program and set up the preferences to be set to "G-Track Pro" for both Microphone & Speakers. Also, like anything else, make sure your room or area is pretty "dead" sounding. This always helps everything sound better. This can be achieved by adding fluffy blankets or pillows around the room or the area where you are using the mic. Hope this helps! -Bobby

- Answer Yes, but it's a mono input, not stereo. Put the switch in "Mono" mode to mix the music with the speech.

- Answer You'll need to buy mounting screws from other sites to mount it to a stand. This is heavy one so you'll need a heavy duty stand for this.

- Answer I have verified it's the cable. I used my printer cable and it works fine. This is a recurring problem. Don't know if it's specific to Best Buy or not but this is the only place I seen the issue reported.

- Answer There is a plug on the back for a guitar, so it is designed for vocals as well as an instrument and will record into your software as two separate tracks.

- Answer No. It will NOT work with your iPhone. I've tried connecting it using my Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, and I received an error that the microphone uses too much power.
