“Is anyone using a pop filter with this microphone? If so, what is the best brand to use with this microphone for ease of attachment? Or has your experience shown a pop filter isn't necessary? Thx.”

I use a pop filter for the mic. I ordered a simple curved pop filter and modified it to sit over the mic. Sometimes I use the mic for chat and the pop filter really helps tone down the crackles. But most of the time you can achieve very good results just by simply re-positioning the mic.
