In Italy you use the European. I plug in first the European adapter and into that I plug the converter and then my charger. It is better (safer) to use the converter, because the standard in the US is 110V while in EU is 220V. For some reason I couldn't plug the converter first in the outlet. The converter fits into the adapter and that was my solution. So: 1- EU adapter 2- Converter 3- cell phone charger Everything worked fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The EU Adapter can work. Italy uses a three round prong outlet, which is compatible with the EU two round prong adapters.
