I actually bought the bag and my new Macbook Pro 16-inch (2021 - M1 Max) fits.

Laptop sizes are calculated by measuring the screen diagonally and are generally standardized into small (14.1"), medium (15.6"), and large (17.3"). This bag is intended to accommodate small (14.1") laptops.
