Just bought the Samsung and it makes vibration noise when starting Took it back to get another one it does the same thing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought one and have this same question, considering if returning is worth the effort of boxing it up. I may just go to the store and ask them to plug in the display unit for comparison. To be specific it is a harsh buzzing for 1-2seconds that converts to a hum that is closer to a normal microwave hum, I'm thinking defective magnetron or high voltage power regulation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found the source of this noise. It is the trim ring that the latches stick through on the inside of the door. When I remove the trim ring all of the noise is gone. put it back in and it vibrates and buzzes. I tried to adjust it to remove the buzzing and could only get it down to a second of buzzing then it stops. I could not eliminate it unless I leave the trim ring out then it sounds like any normal Microwave. Make them run these at the store before you buy it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Samsung microwave is brand new and does the same thing. It is very annoying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.we got ours two months ago, and every since when started up there is a loud vibration in the right rear of the unit. If you put pressure on the area it lessens the noise, so I put a heavy candle on the spot. Seems as time goes by it gets louder.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine doesn't do that but when boiling water it has a funny sound that my other microwave didn't
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue. Will be returning my unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We do not have this noise with ours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sadly enough, I am experiencing this problem, and this didn't come up when I was researching product reviews and star ratings. :( Same issue. Sounds like (all pun intended) the Samsungs are just known offenders with startup noise.
