Press and hold the Power Level Button for 3 seconds to set the clock :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Right above the STOP button there is a POWER LEVEL button. The verbiage right underneath the PL button indicates that it also serves as the clock feature (notice the clock). If you hold that button for 3-5 seconds, the clock will beep and be ready to set. Type in the time, adjust for AM/PM, and then hit start.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Per the Samsung webpage - Your microwave oven is equipped with a built-in clock. Set the clock when first installing your microwave oven and after a power failure. The time is displayed whenever the microwave oven is not being used. 1. Press the Power Level button for 3 seconds. 2. Use the number buttons to enter the current time. You need to press at least three numbers to set the clock. For example, if the current time is 5:00, press 5, 0, 0. The display will show: 500. 3. Press the Power Level button. 4. Use the Power Level button to select AM / PM. 5. Press the OK/START button. 6. A colon appears indicating that the time is set. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We purchased the Samsung microwave mc17j800cg. It says to push the clock button; however, there is no "clock" button. The other comments on here said to hold the power button down for three secs to set the clock, what that does on mine was activate the child safety lock. Try selecting the my settings and select number 9, then press OK, then enter time and press OK. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We found the time by pressing the options button and selecting 9 then press Ok Follow on screen now
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.THANK YOU FOR ASKING THIS! Just installed this microwave and have wasted 20 min. trying to set the time. NO CLOCK button is right. Don't put it in your manual if it doesn't exist. CRAZY huh???
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not an answer, but a question. There is no power level button. The clock button only sets the timer. No options button. I HATE this!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Excellent question. Mine has this same un-feature. You have to know or figure out the "trick" to setting the clock. People are not computers. The clock setting button should be more clearly recognized, whereas the clock icon is subdued and extra small. My microwave is great but it definitely could be more human friendly / user friendly. It seems like they avoided making fewer user keystrokes per operation a design priority. It would be better if you didn't need to enter needlessly complicated keystrokes especially when clearly the same operation could be completed with fewer keystrokes. Somebody missed that design aspect consideration.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had the same question! It was a struggle to finally find out: You have to hold the power button for 3 seconds (look for the tiny symbol of a clock in the power button) And then the microwave will prompt you to reset the clock
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The worst part is that the directions say “Touch CLOCK” & there is no CLOCK button on the microwave. I stared at it a dozen times before googling, thinking I was lame!! Thanks Google. You rock!!
