I'm not sure on this particular model, however, there are ways to do it, I've seen Chromebooks running Ubuntu. Here are your options to do this: Dual-boot Linux with Chrome OS Remove Chrome OS and install just Linux (possibility) Install Linux inside Chrome OS and switch between Chrome OS and Linux using keyboard shortcuts, thanks to crouton.
