• It uses a standard hdmi cable and or an optical cable. No it does not come with the cables.

• I believe a wire came in the box that connects the tv to the bar. It is an optical cable. The woofer is wirelessly talking to the bar and just needs a power source.

• If your TV and the sound bar are Sam song then you would need to connect Them wirelessly by Bluetooth. You do not need a cable to do so. But if you want to connect both using the optical cable then you have to attach the cable to the TV and the sound bar.

• Mine connected with an optical wire. It would depend on which soundbar you got, but most I saw connect that way.
