“Is it okay to position the sub woofer horizontally rather than vertical?”

• I'm not an expert, but Best Buy sent me this question to answer. I would think yes, I've always read that the bass component of the sound (subwoofers) is not directional, so the speaker location/orientation doesn't matter, like with the other speaker components. As long as you don't have it laying face down on the floor, I think it would be fine. YMMV...

• Hi BLKJAK, it's fine to position your subwoofer on its side, though it could change the bass dynamics. Cheers, ^Scott
