  • QuestionWish to remove the ice maker. Need the cover that comes with non-ice-maker models. Where can I get it?

    • Answer Glad I read your question. I was wondering, since Best Buy doesnt carry the non-icemaker model whether I could simply buy this model with icemaker and remove it without any hassle. Now I realize it doesnt even come with the replacement cover, so theres no point in buying this model. Guess I'll go with the non-icemaker model over at Home Depot instead.

    • Answer This unit comes with a built in automatic ice maker. We do not recommend removing the ice maker or altering the unit, as it will void the manufacturers warranty. If you don't wish to use this feature, you can make sure it is set to the off position and do not have to connect a waterline. ^Lo
