The unit is 35 and 3/4 inches wide. If you're installing next to a wall, you'll need a minimum clearance of 3 and 3/4 inches for the door.

Therefore, you'd have to take both into consideration if installing it against an extended wall, 1) the distance the inner edge of the door goes past the edge of the refrigerator as it is being opened, again, doesn't have zero-clearance hinges and, 2) the distance the handle protrudes. Both need to be considered in order to be able to open the door at least to 90-degrees in order to access the pull-out drawers, crisper drawer, etc. Don't make the mistake I did with another refrigerator and get it delivered only to find that the door wouldn't open more than about 4" as the inner edge of the door didn't have enough clearance against the wall. Even if the hinge did allow enough clearance for the door swing, if the handle protruded enough to not allow the door to open at least to 90-degrees, you may not have good access to the crisper drawer, etc.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should. Mine measures 35.75" wide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi just saw this at at Best Buy and it's beautiful. For the width and depth of the box it would fit my 36" wide space. HOWEVER, the doors on this open WAY past the hinges on the sides. It's probably the most any refrigerator I've seen goes that far out when the doors are at 90 degrees (almost 4 inches on each side) and I've been to just about every showroom/appliance store and measured. I have a wall with doorway on one side and there is no way it will open. Be absolutely sure you measure very very well or you'll have to knock down a wall. Wish it did fit because it's a good size for counter depth and very nice look.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A few posts here are incorrect (you don't need 3-4" each side) as long as your opening is 38" wide you will be fine with door clearance swing.
