It’s not a show stopper but gets annoying. I decided to service mine then sell it and replace with a Bosch for about $500 less.

I'm happy to provide some clarity and guidance on how to proceed. Understanding the "LC" Code:The "LC" code on your dishwasher typically indicates a leak detection issue. While it suggests that water is being detected in areas it shouldn't be, such as within the internal components, it may not always result in visible water on the floor. This could be due to a small leak in the system or moisture accumulation in areas like the sump or door seals. Next Steps:To address this: Check the door seals and gaskets for any visible damage or wear, as they are common culprits of leaks. Inspect the drain hose and water inlet valve for any signs of moisture or leaks, even if they're not immediately visible on the floor. Consider using a professional technician to assess the situation. If the leak is internal, a service technician will be able to pinpoint the exact location and provide a proper fix. Cost-Effectiveness of Service vs. Replacement:Whether it’s more cost-effective to repair the dishwasher or replace it depends on the extent of the leak and repair costs. If the issue is with a component like a door seal or hose, repairing it may be more affordable. However, if major internal parts need replacement, the cost may approach the price of a new unit. For further assistance, I recommend referring to the user manual, particularly the section starting on page 51, which covers troubleshooting and diagnostics, including the "LC" error code.
