• We have a 2018 model and have never had any popping noises. There is a noise I can't explain, when you open and close the freezer door, there is a "sucking" noise that lasts about 1 or 2 seconds after closing; it almost sounds like a small compressor is sealing the freezer but I don't see anything in the manual about it.

• I bought mine just a few months ago in july 2017 and it makes loud noises all night. wakes me up upstairs a few times a night
